Meet the Doctors

Benjamin P. De Graff, DMD

Dr. Benjamin De Graff grew up in the Portland area. He attended Oregon State University, majoring in General Science with a minor in Chemistry. Dr. De Graff graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University and upon graduation, started practice at Burlingame Dental Arts.

In his free time, Dr. De Graff enjoys soccer, snowboarding and biking. He is also a skilled brew master and anyone lucky enough to get a bottle of beer from him knows this to be true. Dr. De Graff is a member of the American Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a member of Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity. 

Dr_Elisabeth_KierkegaardElisabeth J. Kierkegaarde, DMD

Dr. Elisabeth Kierkegaarde attended UCLA and University of Oregon, majoring in Biology/Biochemistry with a minor in Deaf Education. After graduating from Oregon Health Sciences University, she went into practice with her husband, Dr. Mark Wilson, and has been enjoying her patients ever since.

Dr. Kierkegaarde is an artist, with special interest in glass art, photographic image collage and aqua media. Many of her paintings are in the office and her art has been in various galleries in Portland and Seattle. Her other hobbies include foreign language and travel, dance, biking and guitar. She plays in the local rock band, Mental Hygiene (www.mentalhygieneband.com). Dr. Kierkegaarde is a member of the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr_Mark_WilsonMark D. Wilson, DMD

Dr. Mark Wilson grew up in Portland and after high school, entered the United States Army, where he was stationed in southern Germany. When he returned to Portland, he attended Portland State University, majoring in General Science. After graduating from Oregon Health Sciences University, he and his wife, Dr. Elisabeth Kierkegaarde, established Burlingame Dental Arts and have been practicing together since 1986.

Dr. Wilson is an avid photographer and many of his photographs are on display in the office and on the website www.hakunamatataphotography.com. His other hobbies include creating glass art, travel and bike racing.
